By accessing or using Readwell, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not use the service.

2. Service Description

Readwell is an AI-powered reader and dictionary for language learners. You can paste text, break it down into smaller pieces with Tree Reader, look up words and phrases, and export what you learn. Some features are free with a monthly usage allowance; a paid subscription raises that allowance.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access the service through automated means or attempt to circumvent usage allowances
• Resell, redistribute, or provide the service to third parties as your own offering
• Submit content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to use
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the texts you submit. The service itself — including its software, design, and generated dictionary content — is the property of Readwell or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. Explanations you export for personal study (for example to Memorio or CSV) remain free for your personal, non-commercial use.

6. AI-Generated Content

Explanations, translations, and dictionary entries are generated by artificial intelligence. They are usually accurate, but they can contain mistakes. Readwell does not guarantee the accuracy of generated content, and it should not be relied on where a mistake could cause harm (for example legal, medical, or safety-critical translation).

7. Subscriptions and Changes to the Service

Subscription prices are shown on the pricing section of the top page. We reserve the right to modify the service at any time, and to change prices upon 30 days notice, provided by posting the changes on this site or within the service.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Readwell makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Readwell or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. By continuing to use the service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
